Who we are
Jon is operated by Vitall Pte Ltd (“we”), Singapore. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Questions and requests: hi@agntjon.com.
What we collect
- Account: your name, and the phone number or email address you sign in with.
- Family profile: the family name, location, timezone, languages, the adults you add, and household preferences such as allergies, dietary rules and things the family avoids.
- Children: only what you choose to enter: a first name or nickname, an age or birth date, interests, education level and learning goals. We ask for the minimum and never require a birth date. Jon is for parents and guardians; children do not use it directly.
- Conversations: the messages you exchange with Jon on WhatsApp or the website, and short notes Jon keeps when you ask it to remember something.
- Usage and technical data: which features you use, the model calls made on your behalf and their cost, and standard server logs. Logs never contain message text, phone numbers or tokens.
- Billing: if you subscribe, payment is handled by our payment provider; we store your plan and subscription status, not card details.
How we use it
To answer your family’s questions and plan things for you; to remember your preferences so you need not repeat them; to keep each family’s data separate from every other family’s; to operate, secure and improve the service; and to bill subscriptions. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
Who sees it
- Meta Platforms delivers WhatsApp messages between you and Jon, under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy.
- AI model providers (currently OpenAI) receive the parts of a conversation and the family context needed to answer, for example names, ages and dietary rules, never phone numbers or sign-in details. We use their business APIs, which do not train models on your data.
- Infrastructure providers host our database and services (Supabase) and deliver one-time sign-in codes (Twilio).
- Other members of your family see the family profile and conversations within the family account, as you would expect in a shared household tool.
Your choices
You can see, change and delete what Jon remembers, download a copy of your family’s data, and delete the whole account yourself from Settings. Deleting the account removes the family’s data from our live systems; backups expire within 30 days. You can also write to us to exercise any right you have under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act or other applicable law, including access and correction.
Retention and security
We keep data for as long as your account exists and as needed afterwards for legal or billing reasons. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access inside our systems is restricted per family at the database level, and we keep an audit trail of important changes.
Changes
We will post changes here and update the date above. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you on WhatsApp or by email first.
